Leadership Development

Brandi Jackson '10, Bethe House resident

"Being president of the house council is something I never thought I'd do. It's been a crash course in leadership because when something goes wrong, people turn to you, and you have to make important decisions. Students also have opportunities to plan a variety of activities such as dance exhibitions, field trips, and movie nights or organize discussions about important social and political issues. The experiences build community and help students grow as leaders and conscientious citizens.
